What this website collects, why, and who handles it.

Draft — pending legal review. This page describes how the website itself handles information. It has not been reviewed by an attorney and does not yet cover state-specific privacy requirements. Treat it as a factual starting point rather than a finished policy.

What we collect

This site collects information in exactly one way: when you fill in and submit a form. That is the quote request form, the gang sheet form, and nothing else.

Depending on the form, that means:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone number and business name, if you choose to provide them
  • A link to artwork you have hosted elsewhere
  • The project details and any deadline you type in
  • The estimate shown on screen when you submitted, so we can see what you were quoted

We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website, and there is no checkout. We never ask for a Social Security number, and you should not send one.

Artwork files

We collect artwork by link rather than upload, because print files are usually too large to attach. That means your file stays in your own Dropbox, Drive or WeTransfer account under your control. When we download it, we keep a copy for production and reprints. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Why we collect it

To quote your job, produce it, and contact you about it. That is the entire purpose. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers below who are needed to run the business.

Who processes it

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions before forwarding them to us. Their privacy terms apply to that step.
  • Our email provider receives and stores the message that reaches us.

We do not currently run advertising pixels, analytics trackers or third-party cookies on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated first.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies. Netlify may set cookies necessary to serve and secure the site.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and order records are kept for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes. Artwork is kept so we can reprint without asking you to resend it.

Your choices

Email kc@americanstitchlab.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deleting your artwork means we cannot reprint a past order without you sending it again.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13.
